Jordan Savard, 34, of Lompoc, California, was shot on the afternoon of November 29, 2021, in the 200 block of South Third Street. Medics found him with critical gunshot wounds; he was transported toward a local trauma center but died en route. Jordan was remembered by family and friends for his warm, welcoming nature, love of the ocean, faith in Christ, and for working at Sprouts Farmers Market in Santa Barbara and attending Calvary Chapel Lompoc Church.

Lompoc Police investigators determined the shooting was not believed to be gang-related. The investigation remains active.
