Richard Harris, a 50-year-old resident of Goshen, California, was killed during an armed robbery at the Sinclair gas station where he worked on September 19, 2021. Two masked men entered the store early that morning, demanded money and, despite Harris complying, shot him. He called 911 but died of his injuries before help arrived.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office describes the killing as a senseless act of violence and has been investigating ever since. Surveillance footage from the gas station was turned over to detectives, a $10,000 reward is being offered for information, and no arrests have been announced.
Friends and family remember Harris as kind and generous with an infectious smile; a GoFundMe was set up to help cover memorial costs. If anyone has information that could help identify the suspects or assist the investigation, please come forward.?
