Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic news about Craig Batiste, and something I can't stop thinking about is how this impacts the kids he was protecting through the Safe Passage Program. Can you imagine how many young lives he touched and kept out of danger on their way to school? It's scary to think about how his absence might affect those kids and their sense of safety. Craig dedicated so much to creating a safer environment for them, and to see his work disrupted like this is deeply unsettling. I sincerely hope that the community can come together to continue his mission. We owe it to Craig and all the children who rely on these programs for a safer future. If anyone has any updates on how these programs are holding up or if there's any way to help, please share. Let's keep his spirit alive by continuing to support the causes he cared so much about.

Has anyone else heard about Craig Batiste's incredible impact on the youth in the Westmont area? I recently learned about his involvement with the Safe Passage Program, and it just breaks my heart to think that someone who worked so hard to protect kids from gang violence could be taken down in such a violent manner himself. It feels so unjust. It's a tragic cycle that he's worked tirelessly to resolve, yet fell victim to. If you or anyone you know feels a tug on your conscience with any information, please consider helping out his family and community by speaking with the authorities. His legacy deserves justice, and his good work to be remembered and continued.
