Terry Michael Ryan Jr., a 34-year-old resident of Lemoore, California, was shot and killed on July 10, 2021. Officers who responded to a reported shooting on South Lemoore Avenue found Ryan Jr. in his car with fatal gunshot wounds. Investigators report he had been pursued by a dark-colored SUV before the gunman opened fire.

A 36-year-old man from Clovis was arrested the next day in Kerman and booked into the Kings County Jail on multiple charges, including first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon; authorities said a loaded firearm was found at the time of arrest. A weapons enhancement was also filed. The motive for the killing has not been disclosed.

The death was the first homicide in Lemoore that year and has deeply affected Ryan Jr.’s family and the community. If anyone has information about the shooting or saw a dark-colored SUV in the South Lemoore Avenue area that day, please come forward.
