Mary Reiswig, 76, and her husband James were found dead in their West Kingdon Road home in Lodi, California, on December 16, 2020. Their granddaughter discovered the couple’s bodies and investigators determined both deaths were homicides. Authorities reported no sign of forced entry, and said the couple knew the suspect.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office identified 53-year-old Christopher Lee Holland, a convicted felon on parole, as the suspect and arrested him the same day at a park less than ten miles from the Reiswigs’ home after receiving several community tips. He was charged with two counts of murder along with robbery and weapons charges and was held without bail. The motive remains unclear.

Anyone who knew Mary or the Reiswig family, or who has information about the case, is asked to come forward.
