I've been following Francisco Arellano's case, and something that caught my attention was the role of the surveillance footage. It's incredible how technology can make such a huge difference in a case like this. From what I understand, the footage helped place the suspects at the scene, which must have been pivotal for the prosecution. It makes me wonder how many crimes in the past might have had different outcomes if we had access to the kind of technology we have today. I can't imagine what Francisco’s family must be going through during the trial—having to relive such a tragic event while hoping for justice. It's a sobering reminder of the violence that plagues some communities and the impact it has on everyone involved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him. I hope the increased attention on this case helps spur positive change in the community to prevent something like this from happening again.
