It's so incredibly sad to think about how quickly a promising young life can be taken away. I came across a detail in Lance San's case that really made me pause—his last moments behind the wheel. Can you imagine how terrifying it must have been for him to be shot and then crash into a stop sign, still trying to hold on? Driving at night can already feel isolating, but going through something so traumatic in those final moments... my heart aches for him and what he endured. His family must be going through unimaginable pain knowing he was fighting so hard in his last moments. It's infuriating to think that the motive was robbery. What a senseless loss. I hope his family finds some peace as the case progresses, and I really hope the community continues to rally around them.
