Terrell Walker, a 28-year-old African American man, was shot and killed in Algiers, New Orleans, on the evening of Saturday, July 7, 2012. Emergency responders found him with multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The New Orleans Police Department opened a homicide investigation and detectives canvassed the west bank neighborhood for information. Investigators faced a lack of willing witnesses and limited physical evidence, and the case eventually grew cold. No arrests have been announced and no suspect identities have been confirmed.

Anyone who was in Algiers on the night of July 7, 2012, or who has information about Terrell Walker’s death is asked to come forward.
