I’ve been following Miguel Carrillo’s case and can’t stop thinking about how closely the community knew him. It’s clear he was more than just another face among the homeless. I’ve read comments from people who encountered him, talking about his kindness and how he always made an effort to uplift others despite his situation. It makes me wonder, what kind of person could commit such a crime against someone so beloved? ? It seems there haven’t been many leads, which is frustrating. I hope the Fresno PD continues to get support from residents who might hold even the smallest piece of this puzzle. With so much violence affecting the vulnerable, it feels like Miguel’s loss is a call to action for all of us to advocate more for those who are often overlooked. Hoping for justice in this case and for more protective measures for the homeless community in general.

I've been closely following the tragic case of Miguel Carrillo, and something that really stands out to me is how much he was loved by his community, despite his circumstances. It's so often overlooked, but Miguel was a significant presence among the local homeless population before his untimely death. Many who knew him described him as a kind soul who, despite his struggles, always had a smile and a kind word to share. It's frustrating how cases like Miguel's often fade into the background because of who the victims are. It reminds me of the importance of recognizing the humanity in every victim, regardless of their living situation. The fact that he hasn't gotten justice yet is deeply concerning, and I can't help but think that community awareness and support could play a crucial role in moving things forward. I just keep hoping that someone will come forward with the piece of information needed to bring those responsible to justice. Miguel deserved better, and so do others like him who face similar threats daily. Sharing his story might just be the push needed to spark change and encourage those with information to speak up.
