I recently stumbled upon some discussions about how local businesses like El Sauz Tacos are handling safety after what happened to Teodik Atanes. It’s really got me thinking about what more can be done to prevent such senseless violence. This case just breaks my heart for Teodik’s family, who must be going through so much pain. I can’t imagine the trauma experienced by that 10-year-old boy and his family either. I wonder how other restaurants and stores in the area are reacting. Are they increasing security measures? Installing more cameras? Having lived in a nearby neighborhood, I’ve always been cautious, but hearing about this tragedy really hits hard. It’s clear that change is sorely needed for everyone to feel safe. Have any of you noticed any differences in security or anything around town since the incident? What do you all think businesses can do to help deter these kinds of acts?
