In reflecting on this case, I feel compelled to think about those 15 guns found at Jose Campos's residence. It’s deeply unsettling to consider how someone so young could have access to such an arsenal. It's frightening to think that these weapons were so easily obtainable by teenagers. Our communities need to seriously address how firearms are making their way into the hands of youth. It’s not just about this one tragedy, but about preventing future ones. My heart goes out to Aliciabelen's family as they endure such an awful time, especially coming so soon after losing her mother. I hope we can all work together to ensure a safer environment so no other families have to go through something similar.
