I keep thinking about Steven Banda's role as a drug and alcohol counselor at Kerman High School. It's evident that he was making a real impact on young lives. The fact that he chose to dedicate himself to helping students battle addiction speaks volumes about his character and desire to make a difference. It's truly devastating that a person so committed to turning their own life around, and aiding others in doing the same, was tragically taken away. I'm sure the students and staff who knew him are feeling a huge loss. It's important that we remember the positive changes he made and the hope he inspired in others. This case is such a reminder of how fleeting life can be and the unexpected turns it can take. Keeping Steven's family, especially his young daughters, in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
