Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Xie Yining case since it happened, and I can’t help but feel for the victim's family as well as the employees at the China Press who had to witness such a traumatic event. A lot of focus has been on the legal proceedings, but what about the psychological impact on those who were present? There were six other people in the office during the shooting. Does anyone know if there’s been any support or counseling offered to them? It's devastating to think about how this must have affected not just Xie’s family but the extended circle of his coworkers and friends. I hope they’re finding the support they need to heal from this. Thoughts?

Has anyone else been following the fallout at the China Press office? It's such a shock to see such a prestigious outlet and community pillar face such a devastating event. The fact that this happened during what seems like a regular conversation between Xie Yining and Zhong Qi Chen just makes it even more unsettling. I can’t help but think about the other six people in the office that day—how surreal and terrifying it must have been for them to witness something so tragic in what probably felt like an ordinary workday. I hope they’re all receiving the support they need to process this trauma. Does anyone have more info on how the office has adjusted since the incident? Have any safety measures been put in place to prevent something like this from happening again? It's so important that workplaces ensure the safety and well-being of their employees in both mental and physical ways.
