Jeremy Dieter Kuemmel, 32, was shot to death on August 14, 2018, in Garberville, California. His body and that of 31-year-old Tiffany Marie Ellebrecht were found in a vehicle that had been set on fire on Briceland Road near the Ettersburg Junction. Autopsies attributed both deaths to gunshot wounds, and the vehicle had been ignited after the killings.

Investigators say both victims lived and worked on a marijuana farm in the China Creek area owned by Ulisses Rodriguez. Prosecutors allege Rodriguez shot Kuemmel and Ellebrecht, then compelled another worker to help move the bodies into the vehicle before it was burned. Rodriguez was arrested and charged with two counts of murder with firearm enhancements, arson, and making criminal threats. At trial a Humboldt County jury convicted him of first-degree murder, arson and criminal threats, and found he personally used a firearm; sentencing was set for April 1, 2022.

Did anyone who knew Jeremy, Tiffany, or the China Creek grow site see anything in August 2018 that could help fill gaps in the timeline?
