Vanessa Palma, 34, of South San Francisco, was fatally shot on June 7, 2018, on the 4500 block of Mission Street in the Mission Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco.
San Francisco Police identified Riley as the primary suspect soon after the shooting and described him as armed and dangerous, believed to be driving a white Chrysler 300. Vanessa’s family said they had warned authorities about the abuse and expressed frustration about a delay in publicly naming Riley as a suspect. They remembered Vanessa as a kind, close-to-her-family person who always smiled.
On June 21, 2018, Robert Riley was found dead in a home in French Camp in unincorporated San Joaquin County. Vanessa’s family continued to mourn and sought justice for her death. Does anyone have information about Vanessa’s life in South San Francisco or contacts who might help fill gaps in the timeline leading to June 7, 2018?
