I’ve been following Lorenzo's case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about his wife. Imagine being on the phone with a loved one and then suddenly losing them in such a violent way. It’s something no one should ever have to experience. Given all evidence against Fonseca and Romayor, it’s clear the authorities did their due diligence. But why hasn’t there been more focus on understanding what drove these young people to commit such a brazen act? Understanding their motives seems just as crucial, not only for bringing personal closure to Lorenzo’s family but also for helping the community prevent future tragedies. My thoughts are with his wife and family as they continue to navigate this unthinkable loss.
