Daniel Halloway, 72, was found dead at the scene of a shooting on October 15, 2017, at 3400 15th Street West in Rosamond, California. Deputies responding to multiple calls discovered two people had been shot; Halloway succumbed to gunshot wounds and was identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has classified Halloway’s death as a homicide and says the investigation is ongoing. Halloway’s family and the local community have been urged to provide any information that might help identify those responsible.
