Latisha Logan, a 37-year-old mother from Madera, California, was shot and killed at her apartment complex on North Granada Drive on June 26, 2017. The shooting occurred early in the morning after Logan answered a knock at her door; her family had celebrated her birthday the day before. Her daughter said the loss robbed the family of future moments together.
Investigators identified three suspects: Jorge Murillo, Khalid Ramsey, and James Ridge. Murillo, 20, and Ramsey, 18, were arrested and charged with murder shortly after the incident. Ridge, 22, initially evaded capture and was the subject of a manhunt before being arrested in Las Vegas in September 2017 and returned to Madera.
All three suspects were taken into custody to face charges; Murillo and Ramsey were detained in Madera County Jail while Ridge was transferred to Madera after his arrest. Does anyone have information about Latisha’s life in Madera or saw anything around North Granada Drive that morning?
