I’ve been following Santiago Morales’ case and keep thinking about the location where he was found. It’s unnerving to know he was in an alley behind Long Beach Boulevard when it happened. That area is usually bustling with people, even at night, which makes me wonder if anyone else saw or heard anything. It’s hard to imagine that something like this could happen without someone noticing. The fact that Morales was just sitting there in his car, probably not knowing what was coming, is gut-wrenching. I can only imagine what his family must be going through, left with so many questions about his last moments. If anyone lived nearby or knows more about activity in that area during late February 2017, especially during those late hours, please share your thoughts. Every detail might help piece together what happened and provide some closure for those affected by this senseless act.

Does anyone else find it strange how the timeline in this case is a bit uncertain? It’s noted that Santiago Morales was last seen late on February 27th, yet it’s unclear whether something occurred overnight or early in the morning of the 28th. The alley where he was found is near a residential area, yet no one reported hearing anything unusual. It's frightening to think there could have been witnesses who were just too scared to come forward because of the gang connections. It makes me wonder what his last hours were like. Did he have any idea of what was about to happen? My thoughts go out to his family and friends, who might still be grappling with these questions with no clear answers. It's just so sad to see how deeply rooted and complex gang-related violence is in areas like Lynwood. What a tragic loss of life.
