It's been over seven years since Antonio Arredondo's life was taken, and it still weighs heavily on the heart. I was thinking about how there were no gunshots reported before the police arrived, which seems strange given the setting. The Lake Hotel isn't a secluded spot, and I'd expect someone to hear something, even in the early morning hours. It's perplexing that the assailant managed to act without drawing attention. It makes one wonder if they had some familiarity with the area or perhaps knew ways to avoid detection. It's frustrating and sad to think that the community didn't have answers to give to the police then and is still waiting for them now. My thoughts are with Arredondo's family and friends, who live with this unresolved pain. I hope that with continued diligence from the investigators and potential new information from the community, there might eventually be some resolution. If anyone has even the slightest piece of information, it could mean everything to those who knew and loved Antonio.
