Has anyone else been following the tragic story of Luis Alberto Lucas and felt incredibly frustrated by the lack of leads? It's so disheartening to think about his family and how they must be feeling with such a horrific loss and no answers. I recently read about how the investigation is hampered by witnesses being too scared to step forward. It must be terrifying to speak out against gang violence with the fear of retaliation. At the same time, I can't help but hope that we, as a community, can find courage and solidarity to bring justice to families like Luis’s who are left in turmoil. If anyone has any insights or thoughts on how we can assist law enforcement without putting ourselves at risk, please share. It’s important we find a way to support one another through this troubling time.
