Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about how tragic and senseless Valente Casas' death really is. I can't imagine what his family and friends must be going through right now. It feels so unfair that a young life was cut short over what was probably a minor dispute. What's really frustrating is how these parties, places meant for fun and celebration, can so quickly turn into sites of violence.
I wanted to talk about something that hasn't been mentioned a lot: the role of bystanders. With that many people at the party, there must have been someone who witnessed the escalation that led to the shooting. I know it’s scary and it’s a big ask, but if someone remembers anything—even something that seemed unimportant at the time—it might just be the key that helps the investigators.
I truly hope that justice is served for Valente, and maybe then, his loved ones can find some peace. If anyone hears more about developments in this case, please share. Valente deserves that much, at least. Let’s hope someone steps up and provides that crucial piece of information soon.
