I've been following the case of young Daniel Munoz, and I can't stop thinking about his older brother. It's just so awful to imagine what he must be going through. Losing a sibling at such a young age in such a violent way can be incredibly traumatic. I read in the trial coverage that they used to play together as Batman and Spider-Man—it's so sweet and innocent. My thoughts are with Daniel's brother, who has to navigate growing up without his best friend. I really hope he's got access to counseling and a strong support system to help him through all of this. Kids shouldn't have to deal with such unimaginable loss. If anyone knows of any community support efforts or ways to help the family, please share. I'm sure they'd appreciate knowing people care and stand with them during this incredibly difficult time.
