I've been thinking a lot about the impact this case must have had on everyone involved, especially Phillip Liberto's family. Losing a loved one to such senseless violence is unimaginable. It's clear that gangs lure individuals in with a false sense of belonging and security, but the reality is so much more devastating. I can't help but wonder about the ripple effects this tragedy has had on the community. Did anyone see warning signs or was this completely out of the blue? My heart goes out to his family and friends. I hope they find some peace and healing as time goes on. This also serves as another stark reminder of the importance of community support in steering at-risk youth away from this dangerous path. Would love to hear if anyone else has thoughts or insights on how we can better support those who might be vulnerable to gang influence.
