Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about how close Gage Seal and Ryan Jawad were before that fateful day. It’s just so difficult to wrap my head around how friendships can drastically change due to one split-second mistake. What really gets to me is that these two were practically family, staying over at each other's homes and sharing so many memories together. It's devastating to know that a friendship that once brought them so much joy ended in such a tragic way.
I just wanted to express my support for both families, as they must be going through unimaginable pain. It reminds me that life can change so quickly and how important it is to cherish the time we have with our loved ones. I hope this serves as a lesson on the importance of being mindful about our choices, especially when it comes to things like drugs and guns. It’s a harsh reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control.
Stay safe, everyone. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.

Feeling really reflective today, thanks for letting me share.
It's been a few years since the tragic loss of Gage Seal, yet my thoughts often drift back to that night at the Travel Inn Motel. Something that stands out to me is the role of peer pressure in all of this. It's haunting to think how a gathering meant for fun could turn into such a devastating event.
I've read that Ryan Jawad was under the influence of marijuana wax, which can be extremely potent. It makes you wonder how much pressure there is on teens to fit in and dabble with substances they might not fully understand. Being young and wanting to be part of the group can sometimes lead to catastrophic decisions.
Both Gage and Ryan's families have likely asked themselves questions over and over about what signs, if any, they might have missed. It's an unimaginable nightmare for everyone involved. I can't imagine how Gage's family feels, but my heart truly goes out to them. Hopefully, this case can serve as a stark warning about the risks of combining drugs and firearms, and the importance of being aware of what our teens might be facing socially.
Sending love and strength to all the families trying to heal.
