Olga Mary Dinelli, an 84-year-old resident of Penngrove, California, was found dead in her home on February 26, 2015. Deputies who responded after a man called to report the incident found the house in complete disarray and Dinelli discovered in a chair; her red 1998 Lexus SC400 was missing and later recovered. An autopsy was conducted and initial reports described the death as a homicide.
Within days investigators arrested two men, Victor Silva and John Bruno Martinez, on February 28, 2015. A third suspect, a woman, was involved in a multi-state high-speed chase that ended in Arizona; during the pursuit the suspects fired at motorists and officers and the female suspect was shot and killed by a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy after refusing to surrender. Silva and Martinez were booked on murder, conspiracy, possession of an assault weapon and receiving stolen property and held without bail.
The suspects were believed to have targeted Dinelli’s home for money and jewelry, though her brother Larry said there was little of value; he described Olga as a devoted caretaker who tended roses and helped manage the family ranch. Does anyone have information about activity near Rose Avenue in Penngrove around February 26, 2015?
