Daniel Green, 31, an Exeter police officer, was found dead in his Goshen home on February 6, 2015, after he failed to show up for work. Investigators reported he had been ambushed and shot multiple times while in his bathroom.

Authorities arrested Green’s ex-wife, Erika Sandoval, and charged her with first-degree murder with special circumstances, including lying in wait. Prosecutors described the killing as a planned execution, saying Sandoval allegedly broke into his home, waited for him to return and shot him. The investigation noted prior incidents between them: allegations of domestic violence, property damage, suspected tampering with Green’s motorcycle, and a pattern of frequent calls and messages from Sandoval in the days before the killing.

Sandoval’s trial began in December 2019 but ended in a mistrial when the jury hung, with one juror refusing to convict on first-degree murder. She remained in custody awaiting a retrial.

Did anyone in the area know Daniel, his routines, or have information about the days leading up to February 6, 2015?
