I keep thinking about the two women who survived this attack. It must be incredibly difficult for them, not only to physically recover from such serious injuries but also to carry the emotional burden of what happened that night. Being involved in a tragedy that claimed the life of a friend like Aaron is a heavy weight to bear. I can't imagine the memories that replay in their minds. I hope they are finding some kind of support and care to process this traumatic experience. It’s important for us not to forget those who survive such incidents and the long road they have to walk. Their healing journey is just as critical as the investigation and brings to light the crucial need for resources for survivors of violent crimes. If anyone has more information about how they’re doing now, I think it would bring some comfort to know they’re surrounded by love and support.
