I've been following Walter Battle's case, and it really struck me how much this reflects the larger issues in Westmont. It's been over nine years, and it's concerning how little progress seems to have been made in solving his murder. I can't help but think about how Walter's family and friends must feel, still waiting for justice after all this time. It really makes you question how many others in similar situations are left without answers. Why does it seem like these cases so frequently hit a dead end? Is it a lack of resources, or are there deeper systemic problems at play? I also wonder about the woman who was grazed during the shooting—did she ever speak out, or does she have any more insights into what happened? I hope the community and the authorities can work together to find some resolution, not only for Walter and his family but for the broader community too, which deserves a safer environment. If anyone has heard anything new or has any ideas on how the public can help, please share. Walter deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.

I'm so saddened to hear about Walter Battle's case. I read about his shooting in Westmont and it's truly disturbing how someone could be taken away in such a brutal manner. What was especially concerning to me is the number of similar incidents in the area. Living in a neighborhood struggling with violence must be incredibly overwhelming for residents. I wonder if there have been any community initiatives to increase security or support for the people affected by these tragedies. Walter’s family and friends deserve closure, and it’s frustrating that there hasn't been more progress in the investigation. Has anyone heard of any community drives or meetings aimed at tackling these issues? Keeping Walter in my thoughts.
