I’ve been thinking a lot about the two survivors of the shooting at the barbershop. It's been almost a decade, and I can’t even begin to imagine how they must cope with the lingering trauma. Surviving something so horrific while losing people around you has to be incredibly tough. I hope they’ve managed to find some peace and have supportive people in their lives. It's frustrating that justice hasn't been served yet for German and Kenneth, but I hope it brings some comfort to the survivors to have each other and the community rallying around them. If anyone has more insights into how they've been doing, I'd love to hear. It feels like, in a lot of these cases, the impact on survivors is overlooked. Let's continue to keep them in our thoughts as we hope for answers.

Has anyone else been following the unsolved case of German Booker Jr.? I can't stop thinking about how this tragic loss has impacted his family and the local community. For someone to be gunned down so senselessly while at work is just horrifying. And then considering Kenneth Mills, a customer just getting a haircut, losing his life as well... it's so heavy. What gets me is the fear this has clearly instilled in potential witnesses. I understand the hesitation to come forward, especially when the suspect descriptions are so vague. But without more information, I'm worried that German and Kenneth's families won't get the justice they deserve. I've been wondering if there have been any community initiatives in Bellflower to try and encourage people to speak up. Has anyone heard of movements within the local community or gatherings to get people talking again? It's been some years, but maybe someone out there knows something that could make a difference. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this. Let's keep shining a light on it and hope for some resolution soon.
