Omar Maurice Williams, 18, was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on May 5, 2014, while riding in a sedan on South Santa Fe Avenue in Rancho Dominguez, California. The attack happened about 4:30 p.m. when a larger vehicle pulled alongside the sedan and an occupant opened fire. The sedan then collided with other vehicles; a woman sustained minor injuries. Omar was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:40 p.m. His companion, Jason Jonathan Pina, was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.

Witnesses said the shooters fled in a large dark-colored SUV with up to four people inside. Composite sketches were released and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who saw the shooting or recognizes the suspects to come forward. Family members described Omar as a loving son and brother whose death has left a deep void.

Does anyone have information about that dark-colored SUV or the people seen leaving the scene?
