Dray Plueger, 37, was found dead in his West Ventura home on February 12, 2014. A Ventura resident who had spent much of his life in the city, Plueger moved to Thailand in 2009 to be near his father, started a business there and later returned; an obituary and a celebration of his life followed his death.

Investigators say one or more unknown assailants entered Plueger’s home and shot him. The Ventura Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit opened a homicide investigation, but no arrests had been made and the case remains unsolved. Authorities have asked the public for help and noted that even small details could be important.

If anyone knew Dray, saw activity near his West Ventura residence around February 12, 2014, or has information that could help identify the shooter or shooters, please contact the Ventura Police Department.
