Has anyone else been following the Cesar Pantoja case? I was just reading about how the situation in his neighborhood became so intense that night. It’s really unsettling to think about the chaos that erupted after the shooting. From what I’ve gathered, the crowd that formed actually impeded emergency personnel from doing their jobs effectively. It’s understandable that emotions were running high, but it’s tragic when it gets to a point where it interferes with efforts to save lives.
I wonder if the situation might have been different if the crowd had stayed calm and allowed responders to work more easily. My heart goes out to Cesar's loved ones—I can't imagine how compounded their pain must be from the chaos on top of such a sudden loss.
