Ryan Paul Good was 20 when he was last seen in the Talkeetna, Alaska, area on June 23, 2000. He is described as White/Caucasian, 5 feet 11 inches and about 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, a white shirt, pants, hip waders and a ball cap.

The key physical clue was his boat, found at the end of Chelatna Lake near Snowslide Creek with all of his gear still inside. That scene—boat and equipment present, Ryan absent—was treated as perplexing and suggested an unexpected event rather than a planned departure. The Alaska State Troopers in Anchorage opened and maintained the investigation, which remained unresolved.

Anyone who was in the Talkeetna or Chelatna Lake area around June 23, 2000, or who has information about Ryan’s movements or the recovery of the boat is asked to come forward.
