Ton Hui Yi, a 43-year-old resident of Del Aire, California, was fatally shot on May 31, 2002. The Los Angeles County coroner’s records list the death as a homicide. Local law enforcement opened a thorough investigation, but investigators faced a lack of eyewitnesses and concrete leads that hindered progress.

No arrests have been made and there have been no significant court proceedings tied to the killing. Authorities have periodically revisited the case and appealed to the public for information as they continue to seek answers. The unresolved investigation has left family, friends, and neighbors without closure.

If anyone knew Ton Hui Yi, was in Del Aire around late May 2002, or has information that might help the investigation, please come forward.
