I'm truly saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Luis Alberto Ramos. Thinking about his friends and family who must still be struggling without answers is just awful. I was reading about how difficult it is for investigators to solve cases like this due to the lack of cooperation from witnesses. It’s a real issue in communities where fear of retaliation is so strong.
I'm wondering, has anyone heard if there have been any new efforts to increase community engagement in these cases? Maybe some kind of partnership between local leaders and law enforcement to foster trust? I feel like there must be some way to encourage people to come forward safely.
