I've been thinking a lot about that awful day when Investigator Lazzaretto lost his life, and my heart goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues who had to endure such a tragic event. One thing that really stands out to me is the bravery of the backup officers, Kevin Foster and Jude Bella. Can you imagine the courage it takes to run into such a dangerous situation, knowing the risks involved? Even after getting shot, they continued to attempt a rescue, which is just incredible to me. It’s a stark reminder of how officers put themselves in harm's way for the safety of others, often at great personal risk. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them, and I hope they've received the support they needed afterward. This whole situation has got me thinking more about what we, as a community, can do to show our gratitude for their sacrifices. Supporting initiatives for mental health and recovery for officers seems crucial. What are your thoughts on how communities can best support and acknowledge what these brave individuals do for us every day?

It's so sad to think about the kids that Charles Andrew Lazzaretto left behind. Andrew and Matthew were just little kids at the time, and now they've had to grow up without their father. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for them and their mother, Annamaria. Growing up knowing your dad was a hero might be a source of pride, but it can’t fill the gap of missing out on all those moments and memories together. I hope they’ve had a lot of support from family, friends, and the community over the years. If anyone knows more about how they're doing these days, I’d love to hear that they're thriving and have found ways to honor their dad’s legacy.

Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the courage and sacrifice of the officers involved in the tragic incident that took Charles Lazzaretto from his family. One aspect that sticks with me is the sheer bravery of LAPD officers Kevin Foster and Jude Bella, who put their own lives on the line to try and save Lazzaretto. Despite facing an incredibly dangerous situation, they acted selflessly, which is a true testament to the bond and commitment among law enforcement officers. Jude Bella, who was shot five times, displayed incredible resilience during the ordeal. It's amazing how the instinct to protect and serve drives officers to face such peril without hesitation. I hope both these brave men received the support and acknowledgment they deserved following such a harrowing experience. This case is a somber reminder of the risks police officers face every day. It's essential to honor their service and support their families, especially when such tragic events occur. My thoughts are with Lazzaretto's family and the Glendale Police Department as they navigate the aftermath of this heartbreaking incident. Sending strength and solidarity to all first responders and their loved ones. ?
