Hey everyone, I've been deep diving into the Michael Konz case and something that's been on my mind is the security measures that were (or weren't) in place at the General Dynamics plant back in '92. From what I've gathered, after the shooting, the company made a lot of changes to beef up their security. But it makes me wonder, why weren't those measures in place before? Given Robert Mack's mental state and his history with the company, I can't help but feel like some red flags might have been missed. I feel for Konz's family and everyone else affected by this tragedy. It's devastating to think that possibly more could have been done to prevent it. I know we can't change the past, but I hope other companies have learned from this and are taking mental health and workplace safety more seriously. Does anyone have insight into what specific changes were made at General Dynamics after the incident, or how other companies responded at the time?
