I've been diving deep into some old cold cases, and the tragic events at the Payless Drug Store back in '79 just keep haunting me. I can't stop thinking about Billy and the other victims—how senseless their deaths were and how their families have lived without answers for so long. I've been particularly curious about the $20,000 that was stolen during the crime. Given that it was such a significant amount back then, has anyone come across any theories about how the money might have been used or laundered by the thieves? It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that could potentially lead to more clues. My heart goes out to all their families who still await closure. Here's hoping that someday soon, new technology or information will finally bring justice to Billy, Tracy, and Michael. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or theories on the money angle or anything else about this case!

I've always been struck by the dedication of the families, especially Billy Baumgartner's, who have never given up hope in finding justice. It's incredible to see how they've remained involved all these years, actively participating in press conferences and trying to keep the case in the public eye. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them to keep revisiting painful memories, yet they continue to fight for answers. It's a constant reminder of how crucial community involvement is in solving such cases. With the new information mentioned by the police in 2011, I wonder if there's still a chance someone out there might remember something that could provide the missing piece to this puzzle. Even the smallest detail could make a difference. I truly hope that one day soon, the perseverance of Billy's family and the other victims' loved ones will lead to the resolution they've been seeking for so long. Sending them all the strength in the world.

I'm truly touched by the ongoing dedication of the San Mateo Police Department and the families in their pursuit of justice for Billy, Tracy, and Michael. It's comforting to know that even after all these years, the authorities haven't given up on solving this case. I can't even begin to imagine what their families have gone through over the decades. I read recently that there was supposed to be a breakthrough a few years back, but I haven't found any updates since then. Does anyone know if there was any progression in the investigation or if there was another reason why the case was revisited then? Cases like this are tough because they linger and affect so many lives. Whatever information or hope resurfaced in 2011, it's clear the commitment is still there. Sending strength and support to the families, and hoping for a resolution one day soon. If anyone has more recent news or insights, it would be great to hear about what's happening now.
