Telvis Lawlor, 45, was killed in a targeted shooting on November 21, 2022, around 12:30 p.m. near Daniel Lane and Amaryllis Avenue in Pahokee, Florida. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded and opened an investigation; as of the latest update no suspects or motives have been identified. Family at the scene, including his aunt Elizabeth Joseph, said they were unaware of any recent disputes that might explain the attack.

Lawlor had previously been shot in December 2014 at Pahokee Liquors; a man named Jonathan Collins, then 28, was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder after Lawlor identified him as the shooter. Despite that history, investigators have not publicly linked the earlier incident to the November 2022 killing and the motive remains unclear.
