Lorie Ann Blevins was 16 when she disappeared from Scioto County, Ohio, in early 1984. The exact date and location are unclear. She was a student at South Webster High School and family accounts differ: siblings were told she did not return home from school one day; another family account says she ran away with a boyfriend; she was also reported to have been in the company of an older man named Ron.

No official missing person report was filed at the time. Lorie is described as having light brown hair, a scar on her forehead, a mole or birthmark above her upper lip, and a broken upper front tooth. In 2018 her brother and his wife learned she had never been reported and formally filed a report; the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation now list the case as active and the circumstances of her vanishing as unknown.

If anyone knew Lorie, her friends, classmates, or the people she might have been with in early 1984, can you share what you remember?
