I've been thinking a lot about the role that social media played in this case, particularly regarding Michael Conrad's grandmother, Peggy Camarillo. It's just so sad to see how these platforms, which are supposed to connect us, can sometimes escalate situations to this magnitude. Threatening a witness online is a serious allegation, and it makes me wonder about the level of tension and desperation she must have been feeling. I can't imagine what Conrad's family is going through—they've already lost Michael, and now they have to navigate these additional legal issues. In moments of grief, many people might act impulsively out of pain, but it's a reminder of how actions can have unforeseen consequences. I hope that justice is served for Michael and peace comes to his family, despite all these complexities. My heart really goes out to them during this incredibly difficult time.
