Sara Trost, 40, a real estate agent originally from Essex, England, was shot and killed on December 23, 2021, in Coral Springs, Florida. She was sitting in her car in the driveway of a home she was showing to potential tenants when someone ambushed her and fired multiple rounds from a vehicle; she died at the scene.

Authorities arrested 51-year-old Raymond Wesley Reese hours after the shooting. Reese, who had recently been evicted from the property, reportedly believed Trost was his former landlord, called law enforcement after the incident and confessed to the shooting. Investigators say he crashed into Trost’s car, shot her from his vehicle, then fled; witnesses heard gunfire and saw a dark-colored car speed away. Court records list a first-degree murder charge; Reese has pleaded not guilty and is held without bond.

Trost was a mother and active in her synagogue and local volunteer projects. Does anyone have information about Trost’s activities at the property or anything seen near the driveway that morning?
