Nashon Brown, a Lauderhill resident, was killed on December 22, 2021, after gunfire struck his vehicle while he was driving near Northwest 52nd Avenue and 18th Court. His car crashed and he was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries. The Lauderhill Police Department opened an investigation and appealed to the public for information and anonymous tips through Broward County Crime Stoppers to identify the shooter and determine a motive.
