Has anyone been following the case of Savannah Mathis? I've been thinking a lot about her sister, Nena. It must be incredibly difficult to live with the memory of that night, knowing she survived but lost her sister in such a senseless act of violence. I can't imagine the strength it must take to stand up in court and speak about the impact this tragedy has had on their lives. Nena’s words about the senselessness of the violence really struck a chord with me. It’s so important that we continue to support those who are survivors of such horrific events. Sending love to Nena and the entire Mathis family as they navigate life without Savannah. ?
