On the afternoon of March 17, 2016, a double shooting in the 2100 block of West North Avenue in Baltimore wounded two people and killed Ronnie Wallace. Wallace, a 36-year-old Black man, was shot around 5:20 p.m. and taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died of his injuries.
Reports do not provide a motive or identify any suspects, and no information about arrests or the investigation’s progress has been released. The shooting added to the city’s toll of gun violence and left Wallace’s family grieving.
If anyone has information about what happened that afternoon on West North Avenue or remembers seeing anything relevant, please come forward.
