Has anyone else been following the heartbreaking story of Patricia and her family? I've been thinking a lot about the neighbor who managed to escape and call for help. It must have taken incredible courage to flee and notify the authorities, especially after witnessing such a traumatic event. I can't even begin to imagine the horror and fear she must have felt. The fact that she was able to ensure the 2-year-old was unharmed is nothing short of incredible. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy, particularly the children who are left behind to grow up with such a loss. Does anyone know if there are any community support groups or initiatives forming to assist the family and provide ongoing help to the survivors? This is one of those times when the strength and kindness of a community are crucial for healing.
