I’ve been following the Oscar Lee Hendrix Jr. case and something I can't stop thinking about is the children who were in the house during the shooting. It’s terrifying to imagine what they went through that night. Four innocent kids, caught in such a dangerous situation, yet nobody seems to be stepping forward with information. The psychological impact on them must be enormous, and I really hope they’re receiving the help they need in coping with what happened. We often talk about the direct victims in these cases, but it’s crucial to remember all the others affected by such senseless acts. Hearing that people aren't coming forward despite surveillance video being released is so frustrating. I can’t help but wonder what would motivate someone to protect these shooters. Those children, along with Hendrix Jr.'s family, deserve justice and peace. If anyone in the community knows something, please, for the sake of all the victims involved, speak up.
