Terrion McQueen, a 54-year-old African American woman, died of a gunshot wound to the head after an incident on November 14, 2020, in the Oakleaf Plantation community of Orange Park, Florida. She was found in her vehicle and taken to Orange Park Medical Center, where she died later that weekend. The case has been described as a domestic dispute that escalated to fatal violence.

Authorities identified Terrion’s husband, 60-year-old Cleon Erland McQueen, as the primary suspect. He was arrested soon after the shooting; charges initially listed premeditated attempted murder and were later upgraded to first-degree murder following Terrion’s death. Investigators report that Cleon McQueen allegedly armed himself with a gun, was seen casing the neighborhood, smashed the vehicle’s side window with his fist and fired a shot. A .38-caliber handgun recovered from the trunk of his vehicle is believed to be the weapon used. He was held without bail at the Clay County jail.

Family and community members expressed shock and grief, describing Terrion as kind and loving. Does anyone who knew Terrion or who was in Oakleaf Plantation on November 14 have information that could help clarify what happened?
