Liza Dukes, 29, of Keystone Heights, Florida, was shot and killed on December 31, 2019. She was pronounced dead at the scene on Lori Loop Road around 8:44 p.m. Her boyfriend, Shayne Wooten, and his father, James Wooten, were also shot that night; James Wooten later died from his injuries and Shayne Wooten survived.

Two people were arrested in connection with the shootings: Taylor Ryan Hill, 22, and Victoria Scifo, 20. Clay County authorities charged Hill with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder; he was reportedly found in possession of a revolver when arrested. Hill had a prior criminal record and had been released from prison months before the incident. Scifo was charged as an accessory after the fact.
